There’s nothing secret about how appealing Vancouver, BC is anymore, with it having come out on tops on several “most livable” cities lists. Still, it earns those honors for a reason, as the city is one of the most attractive in North America, and the infrastructure is well built out making it very easy to [...]

It’s no secret that Victoria in Canada’s British Colombia is a premiere location for aspiring expats. The region already claims 3.65 million tourists annually, who pour over a billion dollars into the city’s economy each year alone.

Today is Thanksgiving in Canada, a secular national holiday. Thanksgiving is celebrated the second Monday each October to give thanks to the abundance and end of harvest season. Canadians celebrate it by spending time with the family and eating a huge meal, that will often include pumpkins and turkey. The conclusion of harvest comes early [...]

Toronto is a very expat-friendly city, and would not be anything it is today without a strong foreign presence from many different sources. It is Canada’s top choice for immigrants to settle, work and raise families. Apart from being the most diverse city in the world, it is also a global city that is one [...]

On this day in 1867, our snowy brethren up north achieved their unification, so we’d like to wish all Canadians, Canadian expats around the world, and aspiring Canadians– including all American travelers who deceptively claimed to be Canadian while abroad during the Bush years– a grand happy birthday!
