Travelers who seek cheap flights to San Diego have many options of flying into the San Diego-Lindbergh Field Airport (SAN). This airport is sometimes referred to as “Lindbergh.” It is located within the city, northwest of the central business district, and is operated by the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority. There are three terminals: Terminal 1, Terminal 2 and Commuter Terminal.

There is also the Tijuana International Airport just over the border in Mexico, and it offers flights to many places that the San Diego-Lindbergh Airport does not. There is complimentary shuttle service from San Diego to this airport.

Airlines That Fly Into San Diego

The San Diego-Lindbergh Field Airport (SAN) holds the record for busiest single-runway commercial service airport in the US, and second busiest in the world.
