Moving to Turks and Caicos Islands
Turks and Caicos Islands is a British overseas territory. It uses the US dollar as currecny. There is virtually no taxation, and many people invest here. Its native language is English, and both groups of islands are major tourist centers. They are situated about 600 miles Southeast of Miami, by the Bahamas. The islands have a population of about 36,000 people, 22,500 of which live on Providenciales in the Caicos Islands. The capital is Cockburn Town, on Grand Turk Island. About 90% of the population is black, and 10% is multiracial or European. Its self government is currently suspended by the UK because of corruption.
