I couldn’t agree with you more…I have a few regrets but at this point after being out of the country for 17 years and another 1 year prior to that it is very easy for me to adapt to where I am which is a South American country…Certainly I could leave here when I have enough to return but the re-entering into a society that is no longer easy to get along with is just not in the cards right now…Basically,it’s money that cures all and one would need more to return to the U.S. and start over…I’ve recently discovered after listening to the Presidential campaigns that I would be better off where I am..The U.S. is a nice place to visit but don’t want to live there..I’m also interested in living in other countries too so everyone of us expats has different tastes and reasons…Happy traveling…!!!
