Erin, good question. Interestingly, much of Sri Lanka has a very solid 8Mbps download speed, which is among the best I’ve experienced anywhere in south Asia. But some hotels seem to have 1Mbps or even less, which can feel quite slow. So I believe that if you moved there you could get fast and reliable internet if you had your own account, though if you were relying on a public hotspot it might be sluggish. -Tom
