They want us to think about moving to Placencia with them. I’m already retired and my wife works as a surgical technician. I’m not so sure about moving, but would like to explore things a bit more. I understand the crime rate is very high, especially the murder rate. This does take the winds out of my sails. Where might be the safest place for expats. They believe it is Placencia.
