Best piece of expat advice you’ve received?

Mix it and Mix in!  Local friends – under the guise of “INTEGRATE to the maximum”!

Best piece of expat advice you’d give?

The same – and learn not only the language, but the local dialects…!

Favorite expat related web sites?

Everywhere – always on the lookout for new stuff for my readers.

Are you planning or dreaming of a move? Are you going home instead? Where to and why?

No! Paradise will do me….!

Tell us more about what you do in your location?

Would you recommend your current location to other expats? Does it rock or does it suck?

If it sucked I wouldn’t be here!  If you like it too hot, full of tourists then it’s for you! If you participate in local life of course.

What is the expat community like where you are?

Almost non existent – and that’s good! Some tourists who buy a holiday home and go the 30km daily to the beaches – like they would – to the office!

Anything you’d like to add?

Nothing – nothing at all!

Thank you!

Thank you, Ian, for participating in our Expat Spotlight! We wish you success and happiness in your current location, and wherever your dreams and business endeavors take you.
