Berlin

Travelers who are looking for cheap flights to Berlin can fly into the Berlin Tegel Airport or the Berling Schonefeld Airport. The Berlin Tegel Airport is the major international airport for the city, and it is north of Berlin, in Tegel. It is usually called the “Tegel Airport,” and is known for its hexagonal terminal building that is built around a central open square. This airport is scheduled to run until 2012; they are working on the Berlin-Bradenburg International Airport to replace it. There are four terminals in this airport, labeled A-D. There is a Terminal E, but it is an extension of Terminal D.

The Berlin Schonefeld Airport exists southeast of the city, and is smaller and less busy. There are four terminals, A, B C and D, but this only matters for check-in, as they all use the same concourse.
