1). Queens English may be the official language but pidgin is widely spoken.

2). Men are allowed to give women present themselves expect the core muslim homes

3. The north makes up about 70% of Nigerian population

4).Majority down north are Muslim but there are Christians too

5) There are equal number of Muslims and Christians in the south except for south east- it is almost a crime to be a Muslim there and you can never see mosque there(the opinion that south is made up of christians is untrue)

Thus the number of Muslims in the Nigeria is more than 50%

6)Finally women can receive gifts directly from men except those in core Muslim states in the north

I used to feel the same way until I went and lived there for a while. I had the best experience of my whole life in Nigeria.
Almost everything (every aspect of life) has some meaning, in Nigeria. That country is one of the most culturally rich nations on earth. I just wish a lot of people would go there, to at least, visit, to just disabuse their minds about that great nation and its beautiful people.

I must admit to being very ignorant of Nigeria, mostly just afraid to go there from all the stories Ive heard. It is fascinating reading, Im glad I found it. It has opened my eyes 😉
