Alton Towers

Alton Towers is the most popular theme park in the UK, and is rated as one of the best in the world. It is building a new roller coaster to open up soon, called “Thirteen,” which is deemed to be the scariest in the UK. Thirteen will be themed around the Dark Forest, an unearthed burial site. This ride has taken 2 years and 9 months to build, to be unleashed in March.

There are many other rides and themes to chose from, within the twelve themed lands. There are great options for children, such as Adventure Land and Cloud Cuckoo Land, which features a Charlie and the Chocolate Factory themed ride. Those who are a little older can enjoy many options, one of which is Katanga Canyon, which can take you through a mock gold mine or river rapids.

This theme park also has a zoo and sea life center, for those who want to see animals.
